11 AAC 16.220. Requirement

The Code of Federal Regulations at 36 CFR 60.12 requires state historic preservation officers to notify property owners at least once in writing if the state intends to nominate their property to the National Register of Historic Places, and to afford owners a reasonable opportunity to review such nominations before presentation of nominations to state review boards (in Alaska, the Historic Sites Advisory Committee established by AS 41.35.110 ).
