Section 40. Allocation of funds

11 AAC 15.040. Allocation of funds

(a) An allocation committee is established consisting of the director, the lieutenant governor or his designee, and three individuals appointed by the lieutenant governor or his designee, from nominations submitted by local parks and recreation councils.

(b) The director will convene the allocation committee at least once each year to consider granting of funds available for the purposes of AS 41.21.864 . The director will notify applicants of the committee's grants within 30 days after the committee meeting.

(c) The members of the committee serve without compensation but are entitled to per diem and travel expenses authorized by law for other boards and commissions.
