Section 100. Disposition by competitive bid

11 AAC 03.100. Disposition by competitive bid

(a) A disposition of royalty oil, gas, or associated substances by competitive bid will, in the commissioner's discretion, be made without a written determination by the commissioner that the disposition of royalty oil, gas, or associated substances by competitive bidding is in the best interests of the state.

(b) A disposition of royalty oil, gas, or associated substances by competitive bid will, in the commissioner's discretion, be made by the commissioner without notice to the Alaska Royalty Oil and Gas Development Advisory Board; however, the commissioner will follow the procedures set out in 11 AAC 03.210 and 11 AAC 03.240.
