7 AAC 48.515. Period of eligibility

(a) The period of CAMA eligibility is one calendar month, unless the division, in its discretion, extends the eligibility period. However, the division may not extend an eligibility period longer than six consecutive calendar months. At the expiration of the eligibility period, or at any time during the eligibility period when a change is indicated in the recipient's need or circumstances, the division may require a new application and full supporting verification.

(b) Beginning with applications received on or after 11/1/2002, the first calendar month of CAMA eligibility is the calendar month following the calendar month that an eligibility determination is made under 7 AAC 48.510. CAMA eligibility is not available for the calendar month of application.
