7 AAC 45.520. Qualifying standards

(a) The department will determine an assistance unit's income eligibility under 7 AAC 45.470, and will determine an assistance unit's payment amount under 7 AAC 45.525, by using the following standards:

(1) adult-included standards, used when the assistance unit includes one caretaker relative or two parents and both parents are physically and mentally able to perform gainful activity:

(b) The standards set out in (a) of this section are adjusted each year by a percentage increase equal to the cost-of-living percentage increase in SSI benefits for that year. An increase in the standards under this subsection takes effect on the same day as the commensurate cost-of-living increase in SSI benefits.
