7 AAC 45.277. Review and redetermination

(a) Upon receipt of information from any source that indicates that a change in circumstances affecting an applicant's eligibility or amount of assistance may have occurred, the department will investigate and, if necessary, adjust the amount of assistance or suspend or terminate assistance in accordance with 7 AAC 49.060.

(b) At least once each calendar year, or more frequently as circumstances warrant, the department will require each recipient, or the person acting on the recipient's behalf under 7 AAC 45.157, to complete a review application and furnish documentation to support it. The department will

(1) notify the recipient or the person acting on the recipient's behalf that a review of the recipient's eligibility is due; and

(2) specify the deadline for submitting the review application.

(c) Upon completion of the department's review of a recipient's eligibility, the department will make a redetermination of eligibility. The department may continue, suspend, or terminate assistance, or adjust the amount of assistance, in accordance with 7 AAC 49.060, based on that redetermination.
