7 AAC 45.222. Applicant work search activities

The department may require an ATAP applicant who is not exempt from participation in work activities under AS 47.27.035 or 7 AAC 45.260 to search for a job and to engage in related job-readiness activities before approving the applicant's application for ATAP benefits. The department may impose a penalty under 7 AAC 45.980 regarding failure to participate in work activities, upon an applicant who refuses without good cause, as defined in 7 AAC 45.261, to search for a job or to engage in related job-readiness activities during the application period.
