Section 115. Procedures for confined patients

7 AAC 33.115. Procedures for confined patients

Each program shall submit in its protocol a plan for possible confinement of patients which provides for cooperation with local jails for either withdrawal or maintenance while in custody, and while awaiting trial or serving a sentence. A patient in custody is entitled, with the concurrence of his program director and the approval of the supervisor of the institution, to continue in the program. When a program learns of a patient's hospitalization, it shall cooperate with the attending physician and hospital staff in order to continue treatment.
