7 AAC 33.035. Identification and confidentiality

(a) In its protocol, each program shall describe and use a system of patient identification which shall insure that each patient is identified with at least a picture and emergency telephone number, and that his methadone dosage is not administered or dispensed to another person.

(b) Each program and the department, and all officers and employees of each program or of the department, shall keep strictly confidential all information, records, and any individual patient data which may be obtained or compiled in the operation of a patient identification card system to prevent multiple registration.
