7 AAC 27.390. Method of permit issuance and revocation

(a) An annual permit will be issued to designated dentists and physicians assigned to the U.S. Public Health Service who serve isolated areas. Permits will be issued, upon receipt by the Commissioner of Health and Social Services, of a letter from the U.S. Public Health Service Medical Officer in Charge of Alaska Native Health Service for Alaska, designating by name, certified physicians and dentists on their staff.

(b) Permits issued to physicians or dentists who leave the employment of the federal government or are transferred out of the state, in line of duty, shall automatically become cancelled.
