Beginning at the intersection of Utokok River and Carbon Creek; then southeasterly along the thread of Carbon Creek to its intersection with a non-visible point-to-point line extending south of the headwaters of Awuna River; then southeasterly along a non-visible point-to-point line south of Awuna River; then northeasterly along a non-visible point-to-point line north of the headwaters of Discovery Creek; then northeasterly along a non-visible point-to-point line extending to the headwaters of Pahron River; then northwesterly along the thread of Pahron River to its intersection with Meade River; then northeasterly along the thread of Meade River to the mouth of Shaningarok Creek; then northwesterly along a non-visible point-to-point line to the headwaters of Kowlak Creek; then northwesterly along the thread of Kowlak Creek to its intersection with Nigisaktuvik River; then northeasterly along the thread of Nigisaktuvik River to its intersection with Meade River; then northeasterly along the thread of Meade River to its intersection with Winter Trail; then northerly along the centerline of Winter Trail to its intersection with an unnamed river; then northwesterly along the thread of the unnamed river to the eastern shore of Walakpa Bay; then northwesterly along the northern shoreline of Walakpa Bay to its intersection with a non-visible point-to-point line extending to the North Slope Borough boundary; then southwesterly along the North Slope Borough boundary to its intersection with a non-visible point-to-point line extending to the mouth of Utukok River, to the point of beginning, including all that area within the boundaries of the City of Wainwright.
