Beginning at the intersection of the Northwest Arctic Borough boundary and Shiniliaok Creek; then northeasterly along the thread of Shiniliaok Creek to its intersection with a non-visible point-to-point line extending to the headwaters of Kuikcherk River; then northwesterly along the thread of Kuikcherk River to its intersection with Kobuk River; then northwesterly along the southern shoreline of Kobuk River to the mouth of Wesley Creek; then northeasterly along the thread of Wesley Creek to its intersection with a non-visible point-to-point line extending to Ruby Creek; then northerly along the thread of Ruby Creek to its intersection with Shungnak River; then southwesterly along the thread of Shungnak River to its intersection with Kobuk River; then northwesterly along the western shoreline of Kobuk River to its intersection with Kugachevik Creek; then southwesterly along the thread of Kugachevik Creek to its intersection with Little Black Creek; then southwesterly along the thread of Little Black Creek to its headwaters; then southeasterly along a non-visible point-to-point line extending to the headwaters of Kerchurak Creek; then southwesterly along the thread of Kerchurak Creek to its intersection with Kergarek River; then southwesterly along the thread of Kergarek River to its intersection with Selawik River; then southerly along the thread of Selawik River to its intersection with the Northwest Arctic Borough boundary; then southeasterly along the Northwest Arctic Borough boundary to the point of beginning, including all that area within the boundary of the City of Shungnak.
