Beginning at the intersection of the Northwest Arctic Borough boundary and Selawik River; then westerly along the thread of Selawik River to its intersection with Kugarek River; then northeasterly along the thread of Kugarek River to the mouth of Kuchuk Creek; then northerly along the thread of Kuchuk Creek to its headwaters; then northeasterly along a non-visible point-to-point line to the headwaters of Niaktuvik Creek; then northeasterly along the thread of Niaktuvik Creek to its intersection with Kobuk River; then southwesterly along the southern shoreline of Kobuk River to the mouth of Portage Creek; then southwesterly along the thread of Portage Creek to its intersection with Winter Trail to its intersection with the western shore of Shogvik Lake to Selawik River; then southwesterly along the northern shoreline of Selawik River to the northern shore of Selawik Lake; then northwesterly along the southern shoreline of Selawik Lake to the southern shore of Hotham Inlet, crossing Baldwin Peninsula south of Nazuruk channel to the northern shore of Eschscholtz Bay; then southeasterly along the northern shoreline of Eschscholtz Bay to the mouth of Kauk River; then southeasterly along the thread of Kauk River to the mouth of Harvey Creek; then southerly along the thread of Harvey Creek to its intersection with Buckland River; then southeasterly along the northern shoreline of Buckland River to its intersection with an unnamed river; then southeasterly along the thread of the unnamed river to its intersection with Middle Fork Buckland River; then northeasterly along the thread of Middle Fork Buckland River to its intersection with the Northwest Arctic Borough boundary; then northeasterly along the Northwest Arctic Borough boundary to the point of beginning, including all that area within the boundaries of the City of Selawik.
