Beginning at the intersection of Staines River and Canning River; then southerly along the thread of Canning River to its intersection with Marsh Fork Canning River; then southwesterly along the thread of Marsh Fork Canning River to its intersection with a non-visible point-to-point line, east of the headwaters of Marsh Fork Canning River; then southwesterly along a non-visible point-to-point line, west of the headwaters of Wind River; then southwesterly along a non-visible point-to-point line to Middle Fork Chandalar River; then southerly along the thread of Middle Fork Chandalar River to its intersection with the North Slope Borough boundary; then northeasterly along the North Slope Borough boundary to its intersection with the United States-Canada International boundary; then due north along the United States-Canada International boundary to its intersection with the North Slope Borough boundary; then westerly along the North Slope Borough boundary to its intersection with a non-visible point-to-point line extending to the mouth of Staines River; then southwesterly along the thread of Staines River to the point of beginning, including all that area within the boundaries of the City of Kaktovik.
