Section 10. Applicability

6 AAC 90.010. Applicability

(a) The standards in this chapter do not apply to broadcast media used by a state agency or a governmental body of a state agency to provide optional publicity regarding notice of proposed regulations under AS 44.62.190 or notice of a public meeting under AS 44.62.310 (e), respectively, that is not being used to comply with the legal requirements of those statutes.

(b) In this section, "optional publicity" includes public service announcements made by the broadcast media at no charge to the state agency.
