Section 40. Appointment of election boards

6 AAC 27.040. Appointment of election boards

In second class cities where the municipal election falls on the same date as the regional educational attendance area election, the elections supervisor shall consult the city clerk regarding the election board appointments and may appoint an election board to conduct the school board election. In areas where there are no second class cities, the elections supervisor shall make the election board appointments. The election boards will consist of at least a chairperson and two election workers. In areas specified by the election supervisor, counting teams may be appointed.
