5 AAC 75.007. Reciprocal sport fishing license program for residents of Yukon Territory

(a) A resident of the Yukon Territory, Canada may obtain a sport fishing license and anadromous king salmon tag under this section for the same fee that is charged a resident of this state.

(b) To obtain a sport fishing license and anadromous king salmon tag under this section, a resident of the Yukon Territory must show to a local representative of the department designated to issue sport fishing licenses, or an authorized sport fishing license vendor,

(1) a government-issued identification card that bears a photograph of that person; and

(2) that person's valid, current Yukon Territory resident sport fishing license.

(c) If the commissioner determines that residents of this state no longer receive the same courtesy in the Yukon Territory given to a resident of the Yukon Territory under this section, a resident of the Yukon Territory may not obtain a sport fishing license and anadromous king salmon tag under this section.
