5 AAC 67.010. Fishing seasons for Bristol Bay Area

(a) Except as otherwise provided in this section and 5 AAC 67.022, sport fishing is permitted year round in the Bristol Bay Area.

(b) King salmon may be taken only from May 1 through July 31, except that king salmon under 20 inches in length may be taken in fresh waters year round.

(c) Halibut may be taken only from February 1 through December 31.

(d) King crab may be taken only from June 1 through January 31.
