5 AAC 38.314. Closed waters for clams and mussels in Registration Area H

(a) Razor clams may not be taken on the east side of Cook Inlet from the Kenai River to the end of the Homer Spit.

(b) Razor clams may not be taken from the Polly Creek certified beach (from Redoubt Point at 60ΓΈ 17.25' N. lat., 152ΓΈ 25' W. long., south to 60ΓΈ 13' N. lat., 152ΓΈ 34' W. long.) for any purpose other than for human consumption.

(c) The following waters within Kachemak Bay State Park are closed to the commercial harvest of all clam and mussel species:

(1) Mallard Bay, enclosed by a line from 59ΓΈ 40.10' N. lat., 151ΓΈ 08.10' W. long. to 59ΓΈ 40.70' N. lat., 151ΓΈ 07.20' W. long.;

(2) Rusty's Lagoon, enclosed by a line from 59ΓΈ 36.30' N. lat., 151ΓΈ 11.30' W. long. to 59ΓΈ 37.30' N. lat., 151ΓΈ 11.70' W. long.;

(3) Halibut Cove Lagoon, enclosed by a line from 59ΓΈ 35.10' N. lat., 151ΓΈ 10.80' W. long. to 59ΓΈ 35.10' N. lat., 151ΓΈ 11.40' W. long.;

(4) the head of Sadie Cove, enclosed by a line from 59ΓΈ 27.90' N. lat., 151ΓΈ 20.30' W. long. to 59ΓΈ 27.90' N. lat., 151ΓΈ 21.30' W. long.;

(5) the head of Tutka Bay, enclosed by a line from 59ΓΈ 24.60' N. lat., 151ΓΈ 17.80' W. long. to 59ΓΈ 25.10' N. lat., 151ΓΈ 17.80' W. long.;

(6) waters of China Poot Bay east of a line from 59ΓΈ 33.90' N. lat., 151ΓΈ 17.50' W. long. to 59ΓΈ 33.40' N. lat., 151ΓΈ 17.50' W. long.

(d) The waters and intertidal beaches of Bear Cove east of a line from a point on the mainland at 59ΓΈ 43.37' N. lat., 151ΓΈ 04.60' W. long. to a point on Bear Island at 59ΓΈ 43.59' N. lat., 151ΓΈ 04.20' W. long., and from 59ΓΈ 43.76' N. lat., 151ΓΈ 04.05' W. long. on Bear Island to 59ΓΈ 44.12' N. lat., 151ΓΈ 02.90' W. long. on the mainland.
