Section 360. Cook Inlet Sablefish Management Plan

5 AAC 28.360. Cook Inlet Sablefish Management Plan

(a) Sablefish may be retained only during an open directed sablefish fishery on board a vessel that is registered to participate in the Cook Inlet sablefish fishery.

(b) An operator of a vessel participating in the Cook Inlet sablefish fishery shall obtain and complete a sablefish logbook provided by the department. The vessel operator must have the logbook on board the vessel at all times and must submit to the department each logbook page that corresponds with each ADF&G sablefish fish ticket.

(c) An operator of a vessel participating in the Cook Inlet sablefish fishery may not land or have on board the vessel more than 3,000 pounds of sablefish in any two consecutive days.
