(a) For directed pollock fisheries, the Inside District of the Prince William Sound Area is divided into the following three sections:
(1) Bainbridge Section: all waters of the Inside District west of 148ø W. long;
(2) Knight Island Section: all waters of the Inside District between 148ø W. long. and 147ø 20' W. long;
(3) Hinchinbrook Section: all waters of the Inside District east of 147ø 20' W. long.
(b) Notwithstanding 5 AAC 39.165(1) - (2), during a directed pollock fishery, pelagic trawl gear may be operated in that portion of the Hinchinbrook Section located north of a line from Cape Hinchinbrook (60ø 13.96' N. lat., 146ø 39.12' W. long.) to Zaikof Point (60ø 18.96' N. lat., 146ø 55.12' W. long.), and west of lines from Johnstone Point to Knowles Head (60ø 40.96' N. lat., 146ø 37.62' W. long.), Porcupine Point (60ø 44.60' N. lat., 146ø 42.10' W. long.) to the southernmost tip of Bligh Island (60ø 48.30' N. lat., 146ø 47.90' W. long.), and the northernmost tip of Bligh Island (60ø 52.90' N. lat., 146ø 46.00' W. long.) to Rocky Point (60ø 57.00' N. lat., 146ø 46.20' W. long.) to Point Freemantle (60ø 57.00' N. lat., 146ø 58' W. long.).
(c) During a directed pollock fishery, no more than 40 percent of the guideline harvest level may be taken from any one section described in (a) of this section.
(d) During a directed pollock pelagic trawl fishery, the total bycatch weight of all species combined may not exceed five percent of the total round weight of the pollock harvested.
