Section 750. Student questionnaire

4 AAC 06.750. Student questionnaire

(a) The commissioner may prepare a questionnaire to be completed by the students of the state.

(b) A school district shall administer the questionnaire to its students in a manner consistent with AS 14.03.110 .

(c) If the questionnaire is to be completed by students in grades four, eight, and eleven, it may be administered at the time the standardized norm referenced test is administered.

(d) Except as prohibited by AS 14.03.110 , the questionnaire may request information about student demographics, activities, and plans for the future. The questionnaire may be used to interpret statewide student assessment, to help students, schools, and districts plan appropriate educational programs, and to advance the purposes set out at 4 AAC 06.700.
