Section 310. Filing

2 AAC 50.310. Filing

(a) Except for the report required by AS 15.13.110 (b) (24-hour report), in order to be timely filed a report must contain the information required by AS 15.13 and this chapter and the original, facsimile, or electronic copy must be

(1) received on or before the due date at one of the commission's offices; or

(2) postmarked on or before the due date; the date shown by the postmark is presumed to be the date of deposit in the United States mail.

(b) In order to be timely filed, the report required by AS 15.13.110 (b) (24-hour report) must be

(1) received at one of the commission's offices on or before the due date; and

(2) submitted by

(A) physical delivery;

(B) electronic means in a format that the commission prescribes;

(C) facsimile;

(D) recorded telephone message, between the hours of 5 p.m. and 8 a.m.

(c) All forms will be available at the commission's offices and at the participating municipalities.

(d) A report that is illegible may be returned for correction but will be considered timely filed.
